yes, it`s been a long break from blogging. and today, on chinese new year`s eve, i`m back.

it`s been a busy fornight with school assignments, tuitions, chinese new year preparations and somethings. and not forgetting, being terribly sick for one whole week.

witnessed jay chou`s popularity again on sunday. couldn`t believe that i went to changi airport to catch him and bugis junction to await his arrival. he looks very charming with those dimples. i labelled 030208 as jay chou day was not a hoax. i even got on my hands his latest concert cds and dvd separately. you can call me nuts and i don`t care. i like him because he`s really awfully talented, more to music sense definitely, but he`s picking up on his acting skills. caught his movie kung fu dunk with eileen, her brother, shirley and her friend. i simply adore his character in the movie. it really suits him and carries his other side well. touching moments captured too, apart from those hilariously funny ones.

anyways, before the movie, eileen had kindly offered to do a d.i.y manicure for me. alternate red and black. matches perfectly and i like the nail arts. her mom was nice too. she gave me a red packet and packet of fortune cookies from precious moments which i blurly left at my grandma`s house after the reunion dinner. by the way, i got a few red packets already from some relatives and my tutees` moms. =) so nice.

this year i`ll be turning 22. as usual, mom still buys me and sister pyjamas for chinese new year`s eve night. and i`m not shy to wear it since mom bought it. =DD chinese new year is always fun with lots of house visitings. you get to see long-time-no-see cousins and relatives, you get to eat goodies, you get angbaos and you have fun playing cards and mahjong. also, you get to gather with friends, take pictures with your nice clothes on and have dinner together on the same table plus tossing the lucky yusheng. most important of all, no work and school for most of us, so we can have a hearty time, putting aside any assignments and worries temporarily. i`m glad that i`m almost fully recovered, seriously. if not, i`ll miss out the fun. =)

before i end off this post and don`t know till when i will blog again, i wish dear all a very happy chinese new year full of happiness. stay safe and healthy. =)

you people must be glad to see this post since many are complaining of my abscence. satisfied? you guys better be. `cos on this eve night, i still got to work through my assignment so i can really play the next few days! =)
